Sidney was our foundation bitch, and the true start of Mi-T Aussies. Even though I've had the pleasure of owning an aussie since I was twelve (that's 32 yrs for those who are counting!) until Sidney came along, we weren't involved in conformation or breeding these wonderful dogs.
Sidney was purchased primarily as a family companion,at just 10 wks of age, I had grown up with an aussie and I wanted my children to do the same! With Sidney it didn't take us long to realize we had something special! After having her evaluated by several knowledgable breeders we were strongly
encouraged to show our new family member.
Sidney's first weekend out in ASCA she took Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex, over specials for a 5 point major! defeating over 60 dogs on her 8 month birthday! Two weeks later Sid made her AKC debut by going WB and BOWs out of the 9-12 puppy class for a 5 point major!
Sidney finished her ASCA Championship in just 3 weekends with 3, 5 point majors at just 11 months old!
Sidney was intelligent,loving and caring and a true member of our family. She had her P.T. in AKC herding, and earned her ASCA Started Sheep title at her first trial, taking a second place and a fifth place out of a class of 18!
Sidney has champion, obedience and agility titled offspring.
We lost our Sidney in May of 2007, she was almost 14 yrs old, we miss her dearly.
